Township is a farm simulator and city-building game where you grow your business and enjoy various mini-games. You can grow crops, tend to animals, build a restaurant, create a zoo and much more. Grow your business as much as possible and enjoy the rewards. The cute graphics will keep you hooked and it's a fun game with an interesting progression.

General Mechanics

Township is like a mobile game but built for a desktop. It's primarily a farm simulator where you can grow and harvest crops. Those crops are used to tend to your animals or sold to help you make a profit. Speaking of tending animals, you can get cows, pigs, chickens and more.

It's also a city-building game where you create businesses like a restaurant, movie theater, zoo and more. This allows you to explore both urban and rural lands and to build them both up. It's easy to switch between all your different properties.

Confusing Progression

The progression of Township is somewhat confusing, but also very interesting between it keeps you on your toes. One day you're building a new pen for your chickens or pigs, the next day you're gathering materials to build a zoo in the city. This allows you to play both types of simulators at once and can you easily prioritize the one you enjoy more.

This might be a weird progression, but it keeps the game from getting stale. There's always something new to work on, improve and to help your overall business in the game. The progression might be polarizing, but it's definitely unique.

Graphics

The graphics are cute and colorful. There's attention to detail here and it's easy to see what everything is. From golden piles of hay to cows and movie theaters, you'll immediately know what you're looking at. The graphics are quite charming and they'll put a smile on your face.

Plenty of Variety

Going to urban and rural environments might seem like enough variety, but Township does more. There are lots of mini-games that are fun and allow you to gain more resources or rare items. For example, you can mine for gold or travel to exotic islands. It's fun and adds even more quests and events for you to enjoy.

Minutes or Hours

This is the type of game that you can play for minutes or hours and still have fun. You can check on your orders, set some produce and be done in 30 minutes. You can also spend hours on really building up your infrastructure, tending to animals and orders, completing quests and much more.

Whether you have lots of time or just a little here and there, you'll find that Township will be entertaining.
